Jessica Ireland is a master's student in the Political Science program at York University. She was the 2019 recipient of the Packer Award for Social Justice and the Dean's Award for Research Excellence. She graduated summa cum laude from the Bachelor of Arts program in Political Science at York University in June 2019. Winnifred Kumi is a first-year undergraduate student in the program of Biomedical Science at York University. She was part of the ACE program which presents student with the opportunity to earn $5000 in scholarships from York University to pursue her studies. She aspires to complete her graduate studies leading to become an obstetrician-gynecologist (OB-GYN). Her interests reside in researching Canadian immigration developments and advocating animal justice. Upon graduation, Catherine wishes to pursue graduate studies so that she can specialise in either one of those fields. Outside of school, she works as a freelance writer and volunteers as a researcher for an animal rights organization. Frankie St.Louis is a fourth year kinesiology student. She aspires to do a masters in sports management and then start a career in this field. Askar Gilmanshin, in his 3-rd year of study in Chemistry, was first introduced in the research team of community radio in grade 12 as an ACE student. Passionate about dentistry, his goal is to pursue a DDS/DMD degree in the near future. At the moment he is working in the dental lab in CAD/CAM dept. He is also actively involved in medical and dental field research. His research interests include biocompatibility of 3D printed materials and new techniques for fabricating crowns and bridges using SLA/LCD 3D printers.
